For my first page on eating disorders I have taken the idea that this individual in the story feels like a criminal while she was institutionalised. To portray this through photography I have used a mugshot like photo of Sara Sampaio and stitched thread through her mouth to illustrate that he illnesses caused her to be unable to eat. I would not change anything about this page as I feel it illustrates all I intended it to.
For the second page on eating disorders I have used an image of Lily Aldridge and placed a Barbie head over her face to portray the story of this girl comparing herself to her friends. This page illustrates the need to lose weight to better yourself and to create what is seen as the perfect body image in society. For example, the Barbie look. If I could redo this page, I would like to use photoshop to merge the two images together as I feel this page looks simple and in creative.
For the final page on eating disorders I have used the idea from a story of a women who developed a paralysing fear of food. I have used an image of Gigi Hadid, placing a plaster over her mouth to portray how the women deprives herself of food and how the fear that eating ice cream would gain her weight and numbers on a scales. If I were to redo this page I would think of a more creative way to illustrate this as I feel it looks too simplistic.
Info were to redo any of these pages I would illustrate different types of eating disorders. For these three pages I have focused on anorexia and losing weight eating disorders. If I could redo them I would focus a page on binge eating to show the different forms of this illness.
