I used a photograph I found of a type of alter ego, expressing the mania and depression, while using a photograph of Cara Delevinge to portray a persons normal self.
I have ripped away the eyes and placed the mania/depression image underneath to express the difficulty of trying to suppress it while it pushed through with harsh impulses of spending too much money, hurting people and pushing them away. I think this page works really well and illustrates exactly what I wanted it to. I would not change anything about this page.
My final page on Bipolar represents the frustration of rapid mood changes. I have used two photographs of Adrianna Lima, one showing her in a normal, happy state, when the emotions of mania and depressions aren't present and a second one portraying her worry, panic and frustration caused by Bipolar disorder. I have placed one on top of the other to show it is always present even when it is not noticeable. I like this page and would not change anything about the imagery itself, however, if I were to redo the page I would change the background to a solid black or white background to stick with the theme I intended.
For the third page on bipolar I used a story where a mother described having bipolar to her son was like having tigger days and eeyore days. I have taken the idea of having tigger days from this and used a face of a tiger and blended it over the face of Taylor Hill to portray the mania episodes within Bipolar. I feel this page has portrayed what I intended it to do well, however if I were to redo it I would used photoshop to merge the images together to create a better finish.
