The course aims to provide a comprehensive foundation in architecture, which demands knowledge of many different but interrelated disciplines and the development of personal as well as technical skills. In recognition of this, the course is divided into a series of modules, which allow students to explore Design alongside Humanities (Urban Studies, History and Theory) and Technology (Structure, Construction and Environmental design).

You will work on design projects that involve manual and computer-aided drawing and model making and we encourage you to develop your own design style. You'll also develop the knowledge to understand the implications of your design decisions.

Entry Requirements:
30 Level 3 Credits at Distinction, preferably to include art or design. 15 Level 3 credits at Merit. All candidates will be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process. GCSE Maths grade B or Pass in Level 2 Maths required.
Student Living:
The majority of our accommodation is for first-year undergraduate students and we offer a variety of different types reflecting different facilities and prices. Most of the accommodation is situated within a 10-minute walk of campus.
We have separate accommodation available for undergraduates and postgraduates, and we also have accommodation comprising a mix of both. In these, postgraduates and mature undergraduates are placed together.

Entry requirements:
GCSE mathematics and English language at grade C or Grade 4 or above. We do not accept GCSE equivalents. Plus one of the following
• 120 UCAS points including at least 88 points from A levels or equivalent BTEC National qualifications or entry by selection event with portfolio and the possibility of a reduced points offer. We accept AS levels. We do not accept general studies. Or
• 104 UCAS points from three A levels or equivalent BTEC National qualifications or entry by selection event with portfolio and the possibility of a reduced points offer. We do not accept general studies.
