For the first page on depression I used the term of suffocation from a story to portray depression. I used an image of Kate Moss, printed onto black paper for the background, then using a white pen I wrote down a personal story of an individual who has suffered through depression. I found this story on the Internet. I then used cling film to illustrate the image of suffocation, taking the idea of putting plastic bags over your head it can suffocate you. I feel this page conveys what I was intending therefore would not change anything about it.
For this page on depression I have used the idea of suicide. I have researched ways in which people have attempted, such as this man with a shot gun and Isabella blow, through her biography, with weed killer. I used the idea of a noose and hanging for this page. I used a heaving line knot to create this noose and glued it over a picture of Bella Hadid to portray that she is contemplating suicide.
If I were to redo this page I would use a thicker piece of string to make the noose and also use a background as I feel the page looks slightly boring.
For my final page on depression I used a photograph of Kendal Jenner laughing to portray the idea of masking the emotions of depression even when they are at there peak. The depressed sign covering her face shows that even though you are depressed it can easily be covered by showing no sigh of emotion.
I like this page, but I don't not think it shows everything I was intending it to, therefore I would try and think of other ways to portray this if I were to redo the page.
