Jewellery Workshop 3

In the third week of the jewellery workshop I began my final piece. I decided to create my design sheet onto a ring. I started by creating the treehouse part. I cut two piece of square wire using a saw, I then cut out a corner piece in the bigger of the two square sections. I then soldered the two pieces together and pickled them.
Soldering the two pieces together deemed more difficult that it appeared. As the pieces were so small and balanced on a very small section, it was difficult to place them together to solder them together. We tried various methods to stick them together, including using wire to wrap around the pieces to keep them together and using a selection of tweezers to keep them in position. The tweezer method worked the best.
