Design Sheet 2

For my second design sheet I included the interior as well as the exterior. I found an image on Pinterest that I used for inspiration on the presentation of my work. As my treehouse design only had two floors I also included the side and front view. I used two point perspective to draw each section of the house including furnishings, then using Gouache to paint the shaded areas of the design. For the background I mixed a blue gouache, however, I ran out of colour so had to mix some more three quarters of the way through. When the colours were overlapped they made a dark streak making the page look messy. To solve this I cut the sections of the treehouse out and bluetacked them to a freshly painted board. But again I ran out of paint so a small portion of the board is streaky. I tacked my designs to the board to over the streak, but I am still able to remove them and place them to a better painted board for my portfolio.
