Fairgrounds.

For this page I looked at things you commonly find at beaches, fairgrounds and arcades being one. Therefore, I looked at different amusements, circuses and rides that are often found within these. While I was researching these I found that red and white stripes were a common design within fairgrounds for example: Helter Skelters and circuses. Therefore, I painted different designs of red and white stripes on half of the pages using gauche paint. As carousel horses are also commonly found here, I drew too painting them in pastel colours and used the silhouette once i have cut them out to paint more. I really like the pastel carousel horses as I think they look cute and neat and something I once rode on when on a carousel horse. As rock is a huge thing you would find at the beach I used acrylic and gauche paint to colour different designs. My favourite part of this page is the collage of fairground tickets. I created a stencil for one and used this to cut out a selection of different coloured tickets. I then used a black fine-liner and marker pen to draw on the design. 

I really like this page as I feel that everything relates and works together really well. I like the colour scheme used on these pages as they are bright and bold and fun to look at. I would not change anything about this page if I could.
