Dragon fly

Over the summer holiday I have seen many dragonflies, which influenced me to try and draw one. I drew it up close to try and capture the detail of the wings and body, then using water colour to add colour and detail to it. However, I feel adding water colour to the piece ruined the look and made it look messy, therefore if I were to redo it I would use a different media.
