Art Deco/ Nouveau.

14/1/16

In today's lesson I looked at two different art movements: Art Deco and Art Nouveau.
Art Deco is an influential visual art style that first appeared in France and flourished internationally in the 1920-40s.
For this page I used the great gatsby style of Art Deco for the background placing images around the edge of the page before printing the definition central.

Art Nouveau is a decrotive style characterised by intricate linear designs. For this page I chose a more delicate colour for the background as it is pages on more natural forms. I then placed secondary images of Art Nouveau examples incorporated with doors around the page.
